#238 Litter Bot

What is this critter? A robot made of litter! Don't mind the grinding gears, fairly normal for the amount of clay in them.

#237 Gift Bag Bot

Spotted in the wild while shopping - robot gift bag. Lazy today? Sort of, this past week has been a hectic blur of house hunting and other activity, hoping less lazy bots in the coming days as I get more at home time.

#235 Moai Bot

Computer forensic experts are unsure of who built the mysterious Moai bot, perhaps it was a cult? The short arms didn't lend itself to manual work but it does appear to have had a large computing capacity. They believe the society that created it moved on to a bird-bot based society, leaving the Moai behind.

Top of a Moai swizzle stick, leg from an Ikea manikin, chip, sequin and spade connector.

#233 Bothawks

With the country in hard times sometimes automatons wander the night looking for a place to have their processes to themselves. Bothawks is such a robo-diner, open late in the night for nocturnal machines.

Based on Edward Hopper's classic Nighthawks.

#232 Y2K Bug!?!

The Y2K bug - did it really exist and all the work put in to updating legacy computer systems and programs prevent disaster or was it overblown? I know I spent 1999 working diligently fixing legacy hardware and testing like crazy at the hospital I worked for, and we were in on 01/01/2000 to make sure the system didn't bork. Among the few mementos I have of that crazy time for IT folks is my real Y2K bug:

#231 Laser eyes!

Playing around with Pencil, an animation and art program for Mac, used my default 'Neutron Robot Man' and it lets you export as flash, not very compact but it is flash. So behind the break it goes since it is 12mb of file, don't want to break any browsers!

#229 5 Hour Energy Bot

This bot is good for 5 hours per charge, just don't charge him too many times in a day.

5 hour energy bottle, sequins, computer parts and pen.

#228 Kork Bot

A cousin of #55 Corky, Kork Bot gets plenty of grief from Corky due to his synthetic nature.

#227 Get Bent Robot

If you tell this robot to get bent, it won't mind.

1/8" stainless rod hand bent (with the help of some heavy duty pliers).

#226 Survey Bot

Here is yesterday's bot, finished it but didn't get it posted. Pen and pencil shaded survey-ish looking robot. Today's robot will be later.

#222 Robots in Spades!

Or a robot of spades, spade terminals! Since I have a bunch of these for any future robo-claws an assembly was in order. Plus this is bot #222 on 1-11-11! I could have done something binary again, but didn't.

#221 Crayon Bot

My inner 5 year old wanted to share his crayons with me and this was the result.

#220 Mints Love You!

Do you love mints? These mints love you! With a heart as big as a mint Eclipse Bot shares the love of mints.

This was actually my 3rd or 4th idea for today. Started down one path, didn't have what I need to finish it, started another, didn't like the results, and same with another. Not sure if Skull-a-Day's Noah had any days like this, get one idea but it doesn't work so you have to do something else.
Eclipse mint tin, thread spool, ram, cut up swizzle stick from Southwest Airlines (the heart and antennae) and googly eyes.

#217 Guitar Bot

Perhaps sent from the Metal Gods? Guitar bot brings it in many styles, including some Hawaiian style too.

4 of my 5 guitars, uke and some effect pedals.

#216 Battery Bot

A whole lotta batteries going on there.

Dead batteries waiting to be recycled.

#215 Cat Kibble Bot

Our cat is an expert on getting kibble all over the floor, so in a way she inspired this one. But I had to hurry, we feed the cat via an automatic feeder and it's not quite dinner time yet so the race was on.

She still managed to grab a bite while I was trying to take pictures though.

#214 Citrus Bot

Citrus Bot is very appealing despite its acidic nature.

Jumbo Mandarin orange.

#213 Shredded Robot

The shredded robot knows your secrets, or at least what your secrets were...

Assembled pile of shredding, fun keeping the cat at bay until I was done.

#212 Super Nintenbot

Old but by some standards not obsolete, Super Nintenbot still has the moves to be entertaining.

My Super Nintendo system and carts, wish I had kept my NES. My brother has the Coleco and Sears Telegames (Atari 2600) console we grew up playing on.
