#326 Sacrifice to the Makers Wife!

As a tribute to the Makers Wife's annual trip around the sun the robots offer up heads in sacrifice containing offerings and treasured wonders in hopes of appeasing the Maker and Makers Wife.

Tomorrow is my wife's birthday, so I made three presents into robot heads using foil as wrap, googly eyes, pipe stems and mini-bows.

So you thought those plastic Easter eggs were going to be full of jelly beans? Were you ever surprised when it was actually a robot with disruption rays!

#260 Mr. Mouth Bot

FEED ME! This bot seems to have a large capacity for filling its mouth.

Made from two lids painted silver and glued together with pipe stems and a googly eye. The lids looked like robo-boobs until I glued them together.

Reminds me of Mr. Mouth:

#220 Mints Love You!

Do you love mints? These mints love you! With a heart as big as a mint Eclipse Bot shares the love of mints.

This was actually my 3rd or 4th idea for today. Started down one path, didn't have what I need to finish it, started another, didn't like the results, and same with another. Not sure if Skull-a-Day's Noah had any days like this, get one idea but it doesn't work so you have to do something else.
Eclipse mint tin, thread spool, ram, cut up swizzle stick from Southwest Airlines (the heart and antennae) and googly eyes.

#179 Ornament Bots

Time for an ornament exchange that I participate in. Only 3 people participating in this one (two of which live in the same house - spouse and myself) so I made two ornaments, one for them and one for us.

Ram chip, googly eyes, felt, pipe stem

#165 Googly Eye Bot

Since I have a thing with googly eyes figure I better make a googly eye bot. The fun starts when your bag of googly eyes spills all over the carpet and it's a race between you and the cat to find them all. I may end up finding them later if the cat wins....

#113 Two heads are better than one!

Are two heads better than one? Does one have good thoughts while the other plots destruction? Well, no - they both want a meatbag pinata to play with. Science must go on, sometimes at the expense of the scientists.

Made from the plastic packaging for a pair of toothbrushes, googly eyes (of course!), network cable, paint, random parts and a dowel.

#106 Acorn Bot Hybrid

An attempt at a hybrid robot of organic material and metal. Oak and steel. It never could get over the horror that it was not quite alive.

Acorn, shiny chenille stems and googly eyes.

#93 We don't serve their kind....

A word of warning to certain automatons, if another group of automatons says they don't serve your kind it might heed you to steer clear of their data channels. This one just wouldn't take no for an answer and is now a warning pike on the entrance to those particularly less than hospitable robot's territory.

foil over a bottle cap and googly eyes.

#64 12V Flashbot

Robot made from a 12V car plug adapter, base for some sort of device, a chip with 'flash' on it and to top it off, googly eyes! I do think googly eyes make many things better.
