#302 To the deepest depths...

...of laziness.

I am beyond wiped today, we finally got the keys to our new home (third time homebuyers so hopefully this is the last time for a long time) and we have been running around taking care of what needs to get done before we move in. I was lamenting how tired I am and the lack of brainpower to create a robot, so my dearly beloved wife doodled this out and said 'Guest post!'

I wasn't going to but as I sit with my sketch pad and a cup of hot ginger tea my brain said 'I'm outta here'.
Guest post it is. Beep Beep.

#266 Found in a game

Hadn't played 'Azada' in a while then remembered that there is a pretty sweet robot in it:

Lazy today? You bet, we were hyped with a killer snowstorm for two days so my hopes were high I would be able to stay at home all day. Woke to 3 inches on the ground but in Portland proper there was hardly any, so the masses had to work while the kids had today off. /sometimessuckstobeanadultrant

#232 Y2K Bug!?!

The Y2K bug - did it really exist and all the work put in to updating legacy computer systems and programs prevent disaster or was it overblown? I know I spent 1999 working diligently fixing legacy hardware and testing like crazy at the hospital I worked for, and we were in on 01/01/2000 to make sure the system didn't bork. Among the few mementos I have of that crazy time for IT folks is my real Y2K bug:

#164 Return of Eyes/Mouth

Thanks to my boundless laziness today I bring you a return of the cut-out eyes and mouth. This time on a carpet sweeper.

#123 Cyborg Knievel

Why yes I am reusing yesterday's bot. And yes, I am being a lazy creator this week - work has killed my creativity so far. Tomorrow will hopefully be better.

Evel Knievel's head in a jar. On a tripod. What? You don't have a head of Knievel in a jar? Tsk, you're missing out - how will you ever get your Futurama-style head museum going?

Evel Knievel action figure head (I only had the head left, I wasn't easy on stunts with him growing up), Jorby tripod, jar.

#115 Fanbot 2

Another fanbot, it's pretty humid/warm today for late September in Oregon so time to break out the robot eyes and mouth and slap them on something!

#104 Contemplative Bot

It computers therefore it is? Descartes contemplation perhaps?

#73 Recycling parts

A/C Robot is rolling its eyes thinking "He didn't just reuse the eyes and mouth from yesterdays bot, add eyebrows and call it a new robot just because it feels about 90 in his home office?"

Yes. Yes I did. Too hot to stay in my office long and the A/C bot is in our living room. So eyes go on and voila! Robot! Thanks to my dear wife and my brother in-law for the improvised bot.
