#263 Robot Skull Quilt Square

Today's robot was done as part of Skull A Day's art quilt auction project to benefit Becky's Fund which is a national non-profit domestic violence and education organization. So far they have enough blocks for two quilts but the deadline is Saturday May 28th, 2011 so they can get more done in time for Skull Appreciation Day on June 4th.



12x12 cotton backing, cut felt pieces sewn down. This will be in the mail tomorrow heading to Virginia.

#179 Ornament Bots

Time for an ornament exchange that I participate in. Only 3 people participating in this one (two of which live in the same house - spouse and myself) so I made two ornaments, one for them and one for us.

Small felt robot. Reminds me of a Japanese Voltron kind of robot, or bad guy robot. And cat hair got on it almost immediately proving the powerful magnetic properties of felt.
