#364 Graduation!

Since I am about to 'graduate' from my year of robots, my wife is about to graduate from her grad school program and my nephew graduates high school I figure a robot graduating is a good theme for the next to last robot (in my year, not ever).

#298 Retired Robot

Being a high tech piece of equipment can be a brutal existence, before you know it you're obsolete and retired.

#213 Shredded Robot

The shredded robot knows your secrets, or at least what your secrets were...

Assembled pile of shredding, fun keeping the cat at bay until I was done.

#100 Crow T. Robot Papercut

"I'm Different!"

For bot #100 I wanted to do something a little more intensive so with a big thank you to the Dudecraft Blog and Paul Overton I did a papercut Crow T. Robot. Paul is a master of the papercut, I've done one other prior to this, a papercut of my dad's Marine portrait as a gift to my mom after my dad passed away last year.
This is about 4" x 5.5" and the black layer was toughest with it's little fussy bits. Check out Dudecraft and look at the various papercuts or look at the Dudecraft Flickr pool for some other amazing papercuts.

#88 Botvelope

Yes, I see robots a lot of places now including when I'm doing bills. The envelope seemed to be staring at me.

#87 George Botshington

Oh that dreary winter's day when George Botshington crossed the Delaware. Nowhere near as dramatic as when George Washington did it, but Washington didn't have a robotic rowboat to help him.

#75 Robot Skull ala Skull-A-Day

Over at Skull-A-Day Noah has once again unleashed the awesome in the form of a papercraft robot skull and of course seeing this I needed to make use of it:

I know I'll never reach the awesome levels of craftitude that Noah has but I do appreciate all he has done to motivate me and the great things he keeps coming up with!

#2 Ark Bot

Thanks to what seems to be non-stop rain here in the Pacific Northwest it almost seems like we should have an ark.

So here's Ark Bot, trying to save the humans, not just two of each species, but it doesn't look like its motives are appreciated.

Cardstock, paint pen and printout of some terrified people.

#1 Skull Bot!

And so it begins.....

In a tribute to my inspiration Skull-A-Day I dedicate my first Robot-A-Day robot.

Skull Bot, aluminum foil over shaped paper.

Thanks to Noah Scalin for the original inspiration and to Tatman, Citizen Agent and Abby for the continued inspiration!
