#138 WobbleBot Prototype

For #138 I really should have done a Misfits themed bot (We Are 138!) but didn't think about it until I saw what number I was up to. Anywho - here is my WobbleBot prototype, inspired by 62 Projects to Make with a Dead Computer by Randy Sarafan. The book has a wobbling drawing bot but I didn't have 4 pens that would fit the small fan I used, so I just gave it legs and let it go.
I need to pick up a couple 9 volt battery connectors and a couple switches at some point so I can finish this up.

#137 Typeface

The Victorian era produced some amazing advances in technology. Typeface the Automaticated Mechanical Embossing Assistant is one of those.
Always found in a fine London suit as any gentleman of the day should have. Unfortunately a steam overload while trying to reproduce the works of Charles Dickens sent it to the scrap heap.

Shopping of a Victorian man, old light bulb, steam gauge and a classic typewriter. Typewriter featured on Dark Roasted Blend's feature on unusual typewriters.

#136 Found Robot - Future Robo Polo?

Found this guy on a trip to the fabric store, I think it's just begging to become a robo polo accessory.

#135 Pancake Bots

Mmmmmm, pancakes. A couple attempts at freehand robot pancakes. More difficult to get the batter to do what I wanted than I expected. Perhaps a robot pancake form is in order.
Second one is robot with sausage arms/legs which looks sorta like a squashed bug.

All evidence eaten.

#133 Strange bot in a strange land

It appears to be a super smoggy day, but that doesn't bother this bot, it doesn't need oxygen so smog is no problem. Or fog. Or whatever is smeared all over the paper.

Wanted to do some sumi-e style painting but I lack a good soft long bristled brush, real sumi-e ink and correct paper. So black tempra on watercolor paper it is!

#132 VIctorian Robot at the Ball

A rare painting of a Victorian-era Robot attending a ball. The image was painted by James Jacques Joseph Tissot.

Shopping of a Tissot painting "Too Early" from 1873.

#131 Robot Song

I haven't played with Garage Band in a long time so I figured I would throw out a quick loop of Bender Bending Rodriguez.

Yes, yes. Another Autumn related robot. What can I say? I love fall! Acorns arranged in a roboto-ish shape.

#129 Chestnut Invasion!

More autumnal automatons invade! What is thought to be an annoying poisonous nut that dings cars and gets hucked by kids may actually be an invading nanobot. Seen here is one unpacked and another unpacking itself from the spiky delivery vehicle.

Horse chestnuts, glittery pipe stems and sequins.
